I am a scientist and sustainability professional with more than 10 years of experience working at the intersection of agriculture, biodiversity, regenerative farming and business. My background combines strong scientific expertise with programme management, stakeholder engagement and strategic leadership across the agricultural and beef sectors.

I studied Biological Sciences at the University of Valencia, where I also completed a Master’s degree and a PhD in Biodiversity: Conservation and Evolution. My doctoral research focused on the biodiversity, taxonomy and ecology of parasitoid wasps and was recognised with the Swiss Entomological Society Award in 2015 and the Special Doctorate Award in Natural Sciences from the University of Valencia. In 2026, I completed an Executive MBA at the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR), complementing my scientific background with training in business management, strategy and leadership.

In October 2014, I joined Syngenta Crop Protection in Basel, initially working within the Global Product Biology teams for Insect Control and Disease Control, supporting the development and biological evaluation of crop protection solutions. Over the years, my role progressively evolved towards sustainable agriculture, biodiversity and regenerative farming systems. In 2023, I joined Syngenta’s AgroEcosystem Technology Platform, where I led regenerative agriculture initiatives focused on protecting biodiversity, improving soil health and strengthening the resilience of agricultural landscapes. In late 2024, I moved to the Climate and Nature team as a Nature Specialist, contributing to the development and implementation of approaches addressing nature, biodiversity and regenerative agriculture across agricultural value chains.

In March 2026, I joined SAI Platform as Beef Manager and Living Labs Lead. In this role, I work with companies, farmers, researchers and other stakeholders across the agricultural and beef sectors to develop collaborative initiatives that support more sustainable and resilient farming systems. My work focuses particularly on regenerative agriculture, sustainable beef production and multi-stakeholder Living Lab approaches, translating scientific knowledge into practical solutions and collaborative action.
